Major evolution of PlugIT ChatGPT
The PlugIT ChatGPT has undergone a complete redesign. It now integrates a memory system, a default knowledge file, and built-in tools such as web search, online content retrieval, date and time access, and intelligent “on-demand” memory management. This evolution allows for the creation of more consistent, persistent, and contextualized chatbots within OpenSpace3D projects.
New chat component for interfaces
A new chat component has been added to the custom interfaces (PlugIT Custom Interface and Chat GUI). It comes with advanced settings, including font management for text input fields, and a complete overhaul of the existing chat interface to support this new component. The result: more consistent, modern interfaces better suited to conversational use.
Improved voice interactions
The PlugIT speech recognition tool now allows users to download language templates, offering greater flexibility in deploying multilingual projects. This enhancement improves accessibility and simplifies the management of speech configurations to meet user needs.
Editor and workflow improvements
The editor benefits from numerous optimizations:
The ability to reload or refresh an imported group from its original XOS file.
A new option (or via the Alt key) to automatically align an object’s bounding box to the nearest one during directional movement.
An added scene rendering parameter allowing the definition of a default IBL image for lighting PBS materials.
The model library has been expanded with new “school” classes, including elements, rooms, and objects.
These improvements aim to accelerate production and offer greater artistic and technical control.
Platform Updates
• Android: Updated to API 36
• Linux/RPi: The Raspberry Pi export makes the use of GPIO optional, which allows applications to be run on Linux Arm such as Orange PI.
